From May 2012, starting from a personal encountering with a person evacuated from Namie town, Fukushima pref. I have started to help in the aid work. In Niigata city, there are many people, mothers and children who have evacuated from Fukushima pref, and are obliged to live in inconvenient circumstances. My work have mainly been; support towards pregnant women, postnatal home visit, parenting support, breastfeeding support, support through telephone, baby massage as well as invite new mothers to my home and so they can have a moment to relax from time to time.

I also attend midwives networking event locally in Niigata city. I only have so much to offer, but I am working with a hope that even my little support will be a helpful support to have for the local pregnant women and the mothers who are in the midst of parenting.
